Getting vaccinated saves lives
The COVID-19 vaccine has saved countless lives, helped tens of thousands of people stay out of hospital, and made it safer for us to live with COVID without fear or restrictions.
Seasonal COVID-19 and flu vaccines are now available for people at higher risk of getting seriously ill from these illnesses.
You can get the NHS flu and COVID-19 vaccines if you:

- have certain health conditions or a learning disability
- are pregnant
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- are a carer
- are a frontline health or social care worker
- live in a care home
Children aged 2 to 3 years, school-aged children (Reception to Year 11) and children with certain health conditions can get the children’s flu vaccine.
