Getting help in a mental health crisis

As with physical health concerns, your local GP practice is the first place to go when you have concerns regarding your mental health. Your doctor is there to help you with your mental health as well as your physical health. They will assess your circumstances and offer appropriate advice or treatment, or recommend local support options.

If someone’s life might be in danger you should call 999.
