Your high street pharmacist offers on the spot, expert advice on a range of illnesses and can give advice about how to use medicines and any questions you may have.
Your high street pharmacist can prescribe medicines for the following conditions, without you needing to see a GP or make an appointment: impetigo (skin infection), infected insect bites, earache, sore throat, sinusitis, urinary tract infections, and shingles. This is called Pharmacy First.

You can book an evening or weekend appointment at a GP hub in Haringey by:
- contacting your GP practice as usual during opening hours
- calling 0330 053 9499 between 6.30pm – 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am-8pm on Saturday, and 8am-8pm on Sunday and public holidays

The Urgent Treatment Centre at North Middlesex Hospital provides treatment for minor illnesses, injuries and non-life-threatening conditions which require urgent or immediate attention.
The Urgent Treatment Centre is based within the hospital’s A&E department at, North Middlesex Hospital, Sterling Way, London N18 1QX
Open 9am to 10pm, seven days a week
