Urgent treatment centres

There are two urgent treatment centres in Camden which can help with urgent, but non-life threatening, injuries or illnesses. This includes sprains and strains, suspected broken bones, injuries, cuts and bruises, stomach pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, skin infections and rashes, and high temperatures.

Urgent Treatment Centre, Royal Free Hospital

The urgent treatment centre is based within the hospital’s A&E department

Open 10am to 10pm, seven days a week

Camden NHS Talking Therapies service (iCope) or call 020 3317 6670 for free, confidential help for common problems such as stress, anxiety, depression and insomnia.

The Camden Crisis Sanctuary or call 07825 165 464 for support from 5-11pm, 365 days a year

Support with health costs and the cost of living

To find out if you can get help with health costs such as prescriptions or travel to your hospital appointments visit help with health costs

If you’re struggling with the cost of food, energy and other bills, you are not alone. Help, support, and advice is available from Camden Council or on 020 7974 4444.

They can help to identify what benefits and financial support you are entitled to, help you make a claim, and put you in touch with other local services that may be able to help you.

You can also contact your local Citizens Advice for free advice on a range of problems, such as with work, debt, benefits, immigration, housing and more by calling 0800 028 3146 or visiting Citizens Advice Camden.
