Walk-in and urgent treatment centres

There are three centres in Barnet where you can get help with urgent, but non-life threatening, injuries or illnesses.

Edgware NHS Walk-in Centre: Edgware Community Hospital, Burnt Oak Broadway, HA8 0AD

Finchley NHS Walk-in Centre: Finchley Memorial Hospital, Granville Road, N12 0JE

Walk-in centres are open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. The last patient check-in is 7pm.

Urgent Treatment Centre, Barnet Hospital: Wellhouse Lane, Barnet EN5 3DJ

Open 8am to midnight, seven days a week.

Support with health costs and the cost of living

To find out if you can get help with health costs such as prescriptions or travel to your hospital appointments visit help with health costs

If you’re struggling with the cost of food, energy and other bills, you are not alone. Help, support and advice is available from Barnet Council or by calling 020 8359 2000.

They can help to identify what benefits and financial support you are entitled to, help you make a claim and put you in touch with other local services that may be able to help you.
