Winter Wellness Procurement

Our Winter Wellness campaign includes promoting uptake of key vaccinations, health checks and keeping well over winter. The wider campaign will include flu vaccination reminders in local pharmacy and general practice, as well as messages out through schools, adverts on bus shelters, and in some local leisure centres and shopping centres.

In some parts of NCL we can see uptake of flu vaccination in eligible populations decreasing, but we can also see people in these areas becoming more ill during the winter period. This is most notable in some parts of Enfield and Haringey. As such we want to reach out into communities to promote the value of vaccination alongside other key winter wellness messaging. The primary target audience for this piece of work is:

  • Haringey and Enfield adults aged between 18 and 65 who are:
    • living with one or more long-term conditions and
    • who need information to improve their management of these through winter.

As part of this work we’re looking for local VCSE organisations to work with us to deliver a campaign to local residents about keeping well in winter. The work will have a particular focus on the importance of vaccinations and health checks.

Interested organisations should submit their bid by 9am on Monday 29th September 2025. Submissions received after this time will not be accepted. Click here to read our Winter Wellness specifications and submission questions.

In addition, organisations working across Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington may be interested in attending one of our Winter Wellness workshops. These are aimed at frontline colleagues (staff and volunteers) and will include a wide range of information on how residents of all ages can help keep themselves well during the winter period and the range of support available from 111, pharmacy, general practice as well as other information. These workshops will be on-line on the following dates:

  • 2nd October: 10:00 – 11:00

  • 7th October: 14:00 – 15:00

Both events will be the same content. If we don’t get enough attendees signed up, we may reduce the sessions and only run one workshop.
