The latest phase of the Your Local Health Team campaign has launched, and this time we’re encouraging our residents to download and make the most of the NHS App, adding to the number of ways you can already manage your health.
Once again using social media, outdoor ads, council magazine articles, flyers, and engagement events we are showing our populations that by downloading the App they can manage their health ‘the easy way’.
We had a great time working with residents from Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey and Islington and found some real stars of the screen! They talk about the App’s features, including:
- Ordering repeat prescriptions
- Using NHS 111 online
- Finding NHS services
- Viewing GP health records
- Getting reminders and messages and much more
Speaking ahead of the launch Dr Josephine Sauvage, Chief Medical Officer of the Integrated Care Board, said: “The NHS App offers one of the most convenient ways to manage your health. From viewing your GP record to booking appointments you can do so much on the go at a time that suits you. I’m really pleased the Your Local Health Team campaign is promoting this very helpful resource.”
To support and share the campaign, look out for North Central London ICS on social media channels and use the #NHSApp #YourLocalHealthTeam and #NorthCentralLondon hashtags.

Encouraging HPV uptake
Alongside messaging about the NHS App, the campaign is also promoting the uptake of the HPV vaccine which is being offered to Year 8 students this term. A social media campaign targeting parents and carers is underway and we are encouraging all those eligible to fill out consent forms for their children when requested, in advance of vaccinators visiting their schools. See more about HPV on our website.
