This year’s autumn flu and COVID-19 vaccine programmes will start earlier than planned as a precautionary measure following the identification of a new COVID-19 variant.
Our teams are working hard to ensure vaccinations start on the new date of 11 September, with adult care home residents and those most at risk to receive vaccines first.
Eligible people are urged to come forward for their jabs as soon as they’re invited.
