Haringey special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) survey – have your say!

Young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and parents or carers of a child or young person with SEND living in Haringey are invited to complete a survey and give their views on the support available for children and young people with SEND and their families.

The survey, called the personal outcomes evaluation tool (POET) survey, will help to measure the impact of an education, health and care plan (EHCP) and the support that it provides. Practitioners who work with children and young people with SEND are also invited to complete a survey.

In-Control, a national inclusion charity, is conducting the independent survey which runs from Monday 7 November to Friday 2 December 2022.

Haringey Council and its partners, including NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board, will use the survey results to evaluate the progress made since the Ofsted inspection in 2021 and will use the feedback to help shape and improve SEND services going forward.
