The Village Practice in Islington was under significant operating and capacity pressures. Now newly refurbished it is able to offer additional services to its patients.
The development project, which was delivered in partnership with gbpartnerships consult, has drastically improved the practice’s clinical operating capacity, repositioning The Village Practice as the most advanced estate within the North Islington 1 PCN, and a shining example of best practice throughout NHS Islington.
Work completed on 22 September 2022, has included providing four new clinical rooms, an additional 500 appointments per week and increased clinical consulting space by 40%.
The Village Practice is also now able to accommodate GP training and host Islington GP Federations (IGPF) IHUB.
