We’re proud to announce that 12 projects from across North Central London have been shortlisted in the 2024 Nursing Times Awards. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Three projects run in partnership with NCL ICB were shortlisted in five categories:

  • Catheter simulation training for adult social care nurses
  • Health and wellbeing bus health checks for social care staff (photo)
  • Nurse-led mobile MMR vaccination service visits areas in need

We asked Miranda Willis, Secondary Care Covid-19 Vaccination Lead at University College London Hospitals NHS Trust, how it felt to be nominated for her work with the nurse-led vaccination service. She said:

“Thank you, it’s very exciting! We’d like to thank everyone, but there were more individuals involved then we can name.

“However, we are very grateful to everyone who supported, set up and delivered this service, at Camden Council, North Central London Integrated Care Board, Middlesex University and University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.”
