West London Works helping Barnet residents into employment

West London Works is a free Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service that can support Barnet residents living with a physical and/or mental health condition to find meaningful employment or stay in their current role. With the guidance of an Employment Specialist, those using the service will be helped to identify employment goals and create a realistic employment plan. Help with CV writing is available as well as advice on welfare benefits and how these could be affected by going into work, help with job searches or support if already in employment.

The service works in line with the eight key principles of an IPS provision. To be eligible for this service, you must be over 18 and registered with a Barnet GP. If you feel like you could benefit from this service, please speak to your GP. West London Works has produced a short video explaining how the service works. Watch it here.
