An important part of the development of the North Central London Integrated Care System (NCL ICS) is establishing appropriate governance.
The Integrated Care System will be led by two key boards:
- North Central London ICB Board of Members
- North Central London Health and Care Partnership.
NHS North Central London Integrated Care Board (ICB) allocates NHS budget and commissions services. This is chaired by Mike Cooke.
The North Central London Health and Care Partnership, is the Integrated Care Partnership, or ICP. This is a joint committee with the councils across the five boroughs. This committee is responsible for the planning to meet wider health, public health and social care needs, and will lead the development and implementation of these plans.
