We are deeply concerned by the violence, racism and public disorder that has escalated over recent days and that has seen individuals from diverse communities, mosques and community buildings targeted.
Sadly, this is a reminder that racism and Islamophobia still exists in our society and impacts many of our staff and patients every day.
The racist violence and prejudice we have been witnessing is completely intolerable and we stand in solidarity with all those affected – our staff, and the communities we serve.
We are proud to be part of a diverse community in North Central London, proud of the incredible staff in our teams and the many organisations we work with across our area.
We are aware of reports of potential events in London and are working with local partners to ensure we are prepared in the event of any escalation.
Please help us by continuing to treat NHS and care staff with kindness and respect.
Thank you.
